Trust, truth and authenticity in the digital age

Abstract

This presentation and paper addresses some of the current and emerging challenges that are undermining public trust and confidence in the public sector and democracy, with a very real impact on social cohesion, democratic norms, and general well being. Pia will discuss the foundations of trust including trustworthy practices, infrastructure, governance, and public participation, and will present a modern framework for trustworthy AI/ADM, that is fit for purpose in the digital age and extends to trustworthy systems more broadly.
